CAT 2008 solutions and My CAT experience

I received a SMS from one of my friend today:
"today is the day when your dream can come true,Best of luck buddy".

yeah,today was the D-day.today 16th Nov 2008 was the day when about 350,000 students
try their luck in one of the toughest exam in the world-CAT,short form of Common Admission test.CAT is conducted by prestigious Business-school's Called as Indian Institute of Management(IIMs)every year. Only Handful of students who get the Call from respective IIMs,prepare for the next hurdle i.e. Group discussion and Personal Interview.

Well,i got up at 6:30 in the morning and as usual hooked up with internet.I wanted to give CAT just for my experience,i was never serious for the toughest Exam in the world.While surfing internet in morning,SMS's Started pouring in my mobile.They were Simple SMSs-wishing me best of luck in the CAT 2008 exam.Then i realized that today is The D-day for thousand of aspirants.

After SMS,it was the time for Calls.I started getting calls from my "GOOD" friend(GF)
and others.

After a light breakfast, i reached at my examination center @ 9:40 sharp.The atmosphere in front of my examination center was tense.The parents were more anxious than their wards.The atmosphere was same as that when i gave my IIT/AIEEE exam few years back. There was no space for parking my bike.Breaking all road rules,Car were parked on the road.

When i reached in the designated Classroom,I couldn't stop myself from looking at a girl who was sitting in front row.She was nervous. clearing CAT was matter Of life and death for her.She must had prepared for the whole year,must had took coaching from the best coaching institutes(who sell dreams) in India.Contrary to this,a guy and girl who were sitting behind me,were busy in building a "NEW" relation.The whole class was numb,but both of them didn't cared for it.As usual girl was laughing at any sentence which this guy spoke.It was a good experience.

Ok..AT 10:30 sharp,our exam started.And the surprise in 2008 CAT was the question distribution.

English:40 questions

The English section had 4 Reading comprehension(RC). i Loved the one which started with
the Ice-cream of 2 and 4 cents.

I won't be writing what i did in the Exam and how i attemted the paper. I don't want to tell the secret behind my failure in not getting even one call from IIMS.Also everyone around you must be telling you about how he/she attempted the paper,so no point in telling the same story again.

Well,The whole Buzz about CAT,ends in the classroom.YOu feel that CAT is just like another
exam.Its not a matter of how much you have prepared throughout the year,how many Mock-CAT's you have given earlier,in which coaching institute you took the coaching.

IT all depends on your "attitude". You just need to focus for 150 minutes(2:30 hours) to clear this exam.Also time management is the crucial thing,as there is sectional cut-off.

For next year CAT aspirants:dont join any coaching institute, they are making profit while selling your dreams.What you need is right "attitude".no need for giving hundreds of Mock tests or solving thousands of questions.It just your "raw" intelligence which is tested in CAT.

I AM NOT WHAT I AM

I am feeling disheartened today. this is because i am not doing what i wanted to do.
I dont want to please anybody,but at this moment, i am doing so.I am trying to please my college friend. i am not what i am.
I need a identity,i want to do what i think is best for me and others.I need a sense of confidence in me. My decisions should be mine only,they should not be influenced by
any other person.
i am feeling low today.
I should achieve what i always wanted to.

The story of a Army officer

hi guys, i love to talk to and about people of different economic positions,different color,different religion. If i find someone quite interesting,different from the normal people,i write a blog post about him/her.

I tried never to make it a sob-story.But in the end,it does becomes the one.:)
Also I try not to exaggerate the real story. i keep it simple and stupid(KISS):)

Here is a story of any Young Army officer who is serving Indian Army from last 10 years.He is designated as the captain in the army.I met him in one of the army hospitals here.

SCHOOLING
This Army man,as he was telling me, was pretty naughty when he was a kid.He was the topper in his class till his high school.He had the look and intelligence to please any girl.He told me that a girl proposed him when he was in 9th grade.instead of accepting her proposal,he slapped her!
He was the kind-of-DON of the school,even his seniors used to fear from him.So you now must have an idea of what kind of guy he is.

Induction into Indian Army
He became serious about his career when he was in 11th grade.He studied all the books of the 11th grade as well as those of 12th grade.That means he completed 2 years syllabus in one year only.
When he got to 12th grade,he simply started preparing for His NDA(national defence academy) exam.NDA is a National lavel entrance examination which is conducted twice in a year.The guys( no girls) who clear this exam go for a medical and fitness test and subsequently joins Indian Army.
This guy prepared for the entrance exam for whole year.As he told me,there were 120 questions in the Question paper,and he correctly attempted 116 of them.
WOW!
116 out of 120 were correct!

THE ARMY LIFE

He did his training at NDA,Pune.The training was hectic.But it was life worth living it.After doing training,he was finally inducted into Indian Army.A dream came true.He joined as lieutenant in Indian Army.He got the choice to fulfill all his dreams in Indian Army.He learned did boxing for 4 years.Did Engineering in 1st few years in Indian Army.Did all the things he ever wanted to do.He was happy,because he was doing what we desired.

THE FALL
After 6 years of job in Indian Army,he decided to do COMMANDO training in IndianArmy.Commando training is the toughest in whole Army.You have to be perfect in every sphere,be it Physical fitness or mental fitness.The training is the one of the worst.There is no margin for error.Even if you do a small mistake in training,you are definitely out from the job.Unfortunately,he committed a mistake in the training.

While learning jungle-warfare,he mistakenly fell from 20 meters of height.He was wearing a helmet on his head,which saved him.Else he would had been died now.But he broke his spinal cord.His right side of the body got paralyzed.He was transferred to a big Army hospital.From Army hospital,he was transferred to operation theater within minutes. Doctors started his emergency operation.They gave him anesthesia only in such a amount so that he remains awake but feel no pain.

He told me that when doctors made 1st cut on lower part of his spinal cord.One of the doctor said:
"Oh shit! we cut in the wrong region".
They again made a cut,this time in the right part of the body and operated on him.

THE LIFE AFTER

The life after the operation is certainly not pleasant,he has to go to see doctor once in a month.Doctors gave him 18 medicine for one meal,which makes 54 medicines per day.Still he enjoys life.still he is naughty.still he lives his life king size.

How you can celebrate small things in life?
Everyone is running for money and fame.Even i am forgetting the small things which used to bring happiness in my life when i was a kid.But, when we grow up, we want money,fame,babes around us etc.But we miss you we are. We miss the things we used to do when we were kids.

I met this guy when i went for my summer holidays in Shimla.He sell the thing(dont know what it is called :p),may be some kind of sweet.According to his friends,He works till 10 in night & goes home only when he sold out every piece of sweet.

When i talked do to me,for few minutes,I realized that he is married and has a small kid.And this mysterious smile( see pic) is due to the fact that its his kids birthday.i made him comfortable.After few minutes of talk,i asked him how he is going to celebrate his kids birthday.He smiled and said:

"babu ji(sir), i am poor.I earn only Rs 40/- (less than $1) per day.We live a
simple life.For my kid birthday, i am planning to arrange a stereo system in evening.
I will borrow stereo system from my neighbor".
I didn't asked what his neighbor does for living.I just wanted to hear about his plansfor his kids birthday.

he carried on.

"Also i am thinking of buying the baloons and a dress for my kid.I am saving from
last month and now i am having about 500 bucks($10).With this money i can give a
dress to my kid".

I was mesmerized.A guy with such a small earning still was happy to celebrate his kids birthday.My friends spend thousands of bucks giving Birthday parties.Booze is themantra in these parties.People who even dont know the birthday guy,come to the party.Still,when you ask them as how was your birthday?

They will reply with a sad face.

"My parents forgot to wish me on my birthday".

Story of an Indian: Home among strangers

S SOON as the news of Assam serial blasts flashed on television Aziz was terrified. He shut the doors, slammed the windows and called up his sister, Afsana, who was in her office at that time. “While returning, don’t put the scarf over your head, and please don’t tell ’Assalam Alaikum’ first if anyone calls you on your mobile,” Aziz instructed Afsana.

Aziz was scared of his community being attacked again. He lives in a rented flat in North Delhi, along with his sister and his 65-year-old widowed mother. Aziz was associated with a renowned multinational company in Delhi. But he lost his job after serial blasts rocked Delhi on September 13, 2008. He was sacked from his office on ’behavioural ground’ just five days after the blasts. He found everything changed in his surroundings after the blasts. Those who were once amicable to him, turned hostile overnight. Even the grocer, who used to provide him the monthly ration on credit, refused to give more. But Aziz did not complain to anyone. “It is my fate,” he said in despair, “because I am a Muslim.”

Afsana was also scared of being fired from her company. She had graduated from a college under Delhi University in commerce stream and is presently working as a tax consultant in a financial firm. “Though I have not yet faced any kind of negative attitude from anyone in my office, but I am afraid of being fired anytime,” Afsana’s voice trembled when she spoke these words. Afsana is scared after she has found her brother jobless since the last one month.

The blast rocked Assam on Thursday (October 30), but why were Aziz and his family afraid? Assam is more than a thousand kilometres from Delhi, then why were Aziz and Afsana scared? “Because we are suspected first, whenever there is any news of blasts anywhere in the country, people point their fingers first at us, though even Hindus were involved in the recent blasts, in Malegaon,” said Aziz.

Why are only Muslims suspected behind every blast? “Because some of our brothers, being misled by some ’mullahs’ started their so-called ’jihad’ long ago, in which the innocent Muslims are getting burnt every day,” Aziz said, “but we are not responsible for that, we even do not know what is the ideal of a jehadi.

From my childhood days, I have been hearing that Islam does not preach extremism, Islam speaks for peace and brotherhood, and I believe the same.”

Still his neighbours, his fellow countrymen, pelted stones at the windows of his flat, looked at him with hatred in their eyes and denied him his place in the mainstream. “Is being a Muslim a curse in India?” Aziz asked in a sobbing voice. “Believe us, we are not terrorists, we also like to have a terror-free India, a green and peaceful India like others. But when we speak the same, people don’t believe us.”

Aziz is scared of his identity, his existence. But Aziz is an Indian, who loves India even after facing such humiliation everyday. That’s why he said, “Where shall I go? It is my Hindustan, my jannat.” Probably, one day Aziz would find his jannat down here.

This was the reply of my Business Environment teacher.We were attending our Business Environment lecture Today morning.A student Interrupted the proceeding of the lecture and asked a simple question.

Who is responsible for the Current Economic crisis all over the world?
Our Lecturer Answer was simple and straight-forward
"The CEO's of the biggest companies in USA.Hang them till death".

His statement has made me inquisitive. I have also started a discussion On blogcatalog.I am not into Business and Economics. I am an Engineering Student,but Business fundas Has always Interested me.

what's the reason for Economic crisis and recession?
Most probably,the concept that Americans and people of other developed countries follow.The concept is: "Earn more and spend more.Save nothing."
This concept of Americans has left various companies on the verge of Bankruptancy.
people in America use credit cards for every purchase they make and spend lavishly.Now if the "demand is moreThan supply",it will certainly lead to the crisis like what is happening today.

I am still looking for more reasons for this crisis,if anyone of my readers can explainin simple language then it will be helpful to me as well all the inquisitive people out there.

PS:the reason given above may be absurd. :) but lets discuss and find out the right reason.

Have you seen the Frankfin airhostess Institute Ad which says " mein alag thi,mein udna
chahti thi(i was different,i wanted to fly)"?

Now i realised all those dreams which a air-hostess training company claims is a illusion.
In real life you have to struggle to achieve small success.The sacking of the cabin-crew
by Jet airways is a fantastic example of this fact.

Jet airways who sacked 1000 employees yesterday,has certainly made the intentions of
the Industry clear. Either be the best or get sacked.In this time of financial crisis
in every industry in India and abroad,only a smart person can keep his job intact.He
should be smart in his work,must flatter his boss and keep him happy.

These are difficult times for Indian aviation. Airfares are going up, passenger load factor
is coming down, and every airline is losing money. Unless airlines take some bold steps
carrying on may be difficult.so in this context,sacking of employees is justified.

but more than that i would like to emphasize on one point: why air-hostess/crew
training companies sell false dreams?Why they are playing with the careers of young people?
They show in newspaper Ads that Indian Aviation industry needs 1000's of employees and
their is shortfall of the skilled people in Indian Aviation Industry.Why they don't
tell freshers about the incidents and risks involved in this industry?

Its true that everyone is different and wants to fly.But don't sell false dreams.

summer of '69 TO sambhar of '69(sorry bryan Adams)

I had my first real six rupees,
stole it from my father's pants.
went to a madrasi hotel,
to eat the sambhar of 69.
Me and some kadke dost,

had it all and we caught bukhaar,
jimy puked, joey got ulcers,
and Bagga ne maari dakar.

Oh when I went back there now,
the food was as stale as ever,
and though it was 1999,
still the sambhar was being served over there,

that was the worst food of my life.

Therez no use in complaining,
when you got no other place to eat,
rushed in the evening to the doctors clinic, but he too was at the toilet seat, yeah

standing there waiting outside,
nurse told me I will wait forever,
oh and when I held my breath,
I knew that I had to use that loo there
That was the worst food of my life.

Back to the sambhar of 69.

Man I was getting killed,

The financial crisis is likely to diminish the status of the United States as the world's only superpower.

On the practical level, the US is already stretched militarily, in Afghanistan and Iraq, and is now stretched financially.

On the philosophical level, it will be harder for it to argue in favour of its free market ideas, if its own markets have collapsed.

Pivotal moment?

Some see this as a pivotal moment.

The political philosopher John Gray, who recently retired as a professor at the London School of Economics, wrote in the London paper The Observer: "Here is a historic geopolitical shift, in which the balance of power in the world is being altered irrevocably.

"The era of American global leadership, reaching back to the Second World War, is over... The American free-market creed has self-destructed while countries that retained overall control of markets have been vindicated."

"In a change as far-reaching in its implications as the fall of the Soviet Union, an entire model of government and the economy has collapsed.

The director of a leading British think-tank Chatham House, Dr Robin Niblett, who has worked on both sides of the Atlantic, remarked that, at a recent conference he attended in Berlin, an American who called for continued US leadership was met with a new scepticism.

Why is the media here so negative?

Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements?

We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse acknowledge them--- Why?

· We are the first in milk production.

· We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.

· We are the second largest producer of wheat.

· We are the second largest producer of rice.

· Look at Dr. Sudarshan, he has transferred the tribal village into a self-sustaining, self-driving unit.

There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters.

I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news.

In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime.

Why are we so NEGATIVE?

Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign T. Vs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.

Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is. She replied: I want to live in a developed India. For her, you and I will have to build this developed India. You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.

Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.

Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours.

YOU say that our government is inefficient.

YOU say that our laws are too old.

YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.

YOU say that the phones don't work; the railways are a joke,

The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.

YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.

YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop,'Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost.'

YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand

Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo? Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston??? We are still talking of the same YOU.

YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground. If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India?

Once in an interview, the famous Ex-municipal commissioner of Bombay, Mr. Tinaikar, had a point to make. 'Rich people's dogs are walked on the streets to leave their affluent droppings all over the place,' he said. 'And then the same people turn around to criticize and blame the authorities for inefficiency and dirty pavements. What do they expect the officers to do? Go down with a broom every time their dog feels the pressure in his bowels? In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job. Same in Japan. Will the Indian citizen do that here?' He's right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility.

We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin.

We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.

We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity.

This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public. When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child! and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse?

'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons' rights to a dowry.' So who's going to change the system? What does a system consist of? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU.

When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr. Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away. Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England. When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government. Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.

Dear Indians, The article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too.... I am echoing J. F. Kennedy's words to his fellow Americans to relate to Indians.....

few days back I went to barber shop for cutting of my rampant hairs. As usual in small Indian barber shops(didn’t had money to go to saloon),you ll find a fan which is slower than that of speed of snail and an old color TV which silently cry for it’s state.

As the barber started cutting my hairs, news flashed on the Television about arresting of mastermind of Delhi Bomb Blast (sept 2008). Even though reporter of the particular news channel didn’t mentioned the name of alleged terrorist, people started talking in barber shop like ‘he must be Muslim’,’ all Muslims are like these only’, ‘throw-out all Muslims from the country’ etc..

It’s true that common people in India are wary about a Muslim Guy sitting next to him/her & this mistrust is growing with every terrorist attack in India. Till few years back, our prime minister used to claim that there is no single India (Muslim) who is involved in any terrorist attack in any part of the world. But After attack by an Indian on hathrew(spelling mistake) airport In UK in 2007,who rammed his car into the entry gate of the airport, it became clear that Various terrorist organization like Al-quida,Lashkar-e-toiba were able to establish there presence in Indian sub-continent.

The new face of Indian Terrorism was clear with the attack in Mumbai in 2007 and presently the serial blasts in delhi.These terrorists are not poor people. These are the Engineers, doctors, lawyers who are in their mid 20’s.

So why Young Indian Muslims are taking the path of terrorism?

Gujarat riots: I still regret what happened in Gujarat in 2002.Few people burned a boggy of the train. In return of that, Government eliminated all people of a community (Muslim) in its state. The face of the Muslim guy who made headlines in all national and international dailies still reminds us the horrifying affairs of the Gujarat state at that time. All this really hurt the Muslim community and now they are seeking revenge.

Poor economic condition: majority of the Muslims are still poor. The economic reforms in India have not affected them exponentially. Also the literacy rate among Muslim community is very low.

Polarization of society: various groups are dividing India. Bajrang dal,VHP are the front-runners. So when one doesn’t feel secure in its own home, he ll make attempts to break that home into pieces.

I don’t think any of the attacks in India are part of Jihad against Western countries. It’s the frustration of the young Indian Muslims who are not getting a job, are isolated from the society & are living in constant fear.

I always wondered why girls want to know what other person is saying about them in the college. Even though they are attending lecture in the classroom,their ears like sniffer dogs,remain intact with the voice coming from various parts of the classroom.And whenever a signal which contains any reference to them,reaches to them,their ears would work 10 times more so as to get the all the information which is going through behind them.

I realised that this is not a matter of the lecture room,Even in Ordinary life, girls and women alike wants to know about all the chit-chat going behind them.

So what has led to this awesome phenomenon called Eavesdropping?

I am not Into human behaviour or pshycology.so guessing the right answer Is quite impossible.

Well,probably woman is a beatiful creature by god.And when each and every womam try to prove how beautiful she is,then it becomes a problem.Each one wants to know about the latest cosmetic that is in use.

This also raises various question in girls mind:

Why other girl is looking more beautiful today?

the launch of the iPhone 3G was flawed from the start, with scant understanding of the price sensitivity of the local market. The iPhone 3G was launched in India without 3G networks in operation in the country, without access to music and video downloads through Apple's iTunes, and at a hefty price, raising doubts as to whether the product can take off in the country.

Estimates of sales of the iPhone 3G in India range from 1,500 units to about 5,000 units, which, in any case, is low for a country that had 296 million mobile connections at the end of July and is adding over 8 million new subscribers a month.

A Wednesday:Movie Review

It's been a long time since i watched a nice hindi movie."A wednesday" simply rocks! It was better than much-hyped Rock On! Withno songs,no old love stories,"A wednesday" matches my taste!

Also i watched this movie on Sunday afternoon and in evening of that fateful day,serial bomb-blasts in Delhi took place.

"A wednesday" is a movie about terrorism and common man.How common man innovates an idea of dealing with the terrorism when Our Government fails.Its a great movie,with lots of twists.But, i didn't like the ending of the movie.Why the hell,every bollywood movie should have an happy ending?

THE STORY
The story is a simple one. There are bombs, five of them…and this we find that out pretty early on in the movie. One bomb is planted at the police station itself…and as for the other bombs, well that is for the police to find out. And as is common with all terrorists, the person who has planted the bombs wants something in exchange…There is suspense even though we know that the police commissioner (who is the narrator) is alive and well…as we don’t know what is going to
happen to the other characters.

The twist in the tale is what makes the movie worth it. It’s a very satisfying movie although until the last twenty minutes of the movie things seem to be going on in a predictable manner.

Here goes the complete story:

Movie starts with "dialogues" of anupam kher who is playing his role as top cop in mumbai police.He gets a call form a person(Naseeruddin Shah) about planting of 5 bombs in all parts of the city.It should be noted that the name of Naseeruddin Shah is never spoken in the whole movie.The reason for this,as given in the movie,was that people recognise a person with his name.If he is Muslim,then people ll think him as a terrorist.

Now,Naseeruddin Shah,who is pretends as a terrorist,ask for freeing the top 4 terrorists from various jails of mumbai.This was the deal between Naseeruddin Shah and anupam kher.If police releases all 4 terrorists then Naseeruddin Shah would tell the police about the locations where he has planted the bombs.

Police obeys him and releases all 4 terrorists.police take all 4 terrorists to a pre-specified place.As Anupam kher asks for the location of the bombs as per the deal.

Here comes the twist,instead of taking all terrorits with him,Naseeruddin Shah blows all of them except one terrorist.

Now,for how this happens,you must watch the movie.

The long dialogue of Naseeruddin Shah in the end of movie is boring..Except it," A wednesday" rocks!

A wealthy man, a successful men, a famous man, an interesting man, a macho, a talented man, a loving man, a man she loves, a father for her children, a friend, a sex-machine – details may differ, but the main point stays the same. She wants a man. Some females want just money or a career, but if she denies her willingness to meet a real man – she lies. Moreover, girl’s demands to what she calls a good man vary as she gets older.

A girl of 22 wants a prince on a white horse. A girl may claim she’s realistic and doesn’t look on the world through the pink glasses, but she’ll never confess dreaming of an ideal man. He’s got to be handsome, charming, popular. He’s got to be rich - probably not so rich, but always in funds. Of course, he’s got to be generous to spend money on her. He’s got to be smart, brilliantly smart– to some girls it’s even more important than being very handsome, but of course his mind is never more important than his purse. He’s got to have a great sense of humor, to be athletic, stylish, romantic and a good listener, tender lover and... well, the list of his qualities can be prolonged on and on. A girl wants a man to adore her and to make her the goddess with flowers, gifts and promises of eternal love laid at her feet.

A girl of 32 wants just a good man. She has finally taken off those pink glasses and got rid of romantic fantasies. So her good man mustn’t be a hero – he is good-looking, has good manners, a well-paid job, a good car, a good house, and a good sum of money on a credit card. Also he carries bags from supermarket, likes her home-cooked dinners, laughs at her jokes, remembers the most important dates – like her mom’s birthday, and able to express tenderness not less than one time per week. Such a nice domestic kind of a good man.

A girl of 42 wants just a man. That ordinary kind of man is not a movie star, he even has a belly instead of muscles– good if the shirt covers it all; sometimes a head lacking hair, but still isn’t too disgusting. He shaves by the weekends, is still “athletic” enough to do some housework, remembers where to laugh in the jokes, nods to show he’s listening, takes her out once a month, drives her to the supermarket and back, doesn’t set the car in motion until all women’s parts of body are in, and puts the water-closet pan’s seat down.

A girl of 52 wants... well she just lives with that man. It’s really nice if he remembers her name, shaves during weekends, sometimes gets a haircut, changes underwear and socks regularly, borrows money not too often, tries to behave himself in public. It’s great if he also finds the strength to leave the coach for some weekends, notices delicious dinner while watching TV, doesn’t always fall asleep while listening to a person. By this age a woman doesn’t expect much, in fact she asks for the very minimum.

A girl of 62 wants a man who won’t disturb her too often. She’s a lucky one, if he’s not too scary to make his own grandchildren cry, if he still remembers where the bathroom is, where his teeth are, what month it is, who this woman is, what he is laughing at, and etc. A woman will appreciate his ability to get up, dress properly without much help from her side. The top of all dreams is if it doesn’t cost a lot to keep that man, and if there are some places in the house, where his snore doesn’t reach.

A girl of 72... well, some “girls” do live that long, but what about men? Are you sure he’s still breathing? And he doesn’t leave puddles in the water-closet? Oh, that’s a real treasure for a tired girl of 72.

ATTITUDE!

They says that attitude decides your destiny!
A right attitude can bring you lot of success in your life,on the other way around,with wrong attitude who won't get anything in your life.

Easy said and done,what is a right attitude?
From last many years i am trying to figure out answer to this question.I am still unclear about the answer of this question.I am still trying to figure out that what is the meaning of the word "ATTITUDE" which ll bring success to me in my professional and personal life.u

Well, i was watching last weekend Belguin Formula1 grand prix,and got a clear idea of a positive attitude.Kimi Raikkenon of Ferrari overtook the McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton in first lap & came to 1st position.Kimi led the Belguin Grand Prix for almost 40 laps.But, Hamilton was just behind him,looking for an oppurtunity to overtake Kimi.

It's clear that in case of rain McLaren is much better car than Ferrari.So when light rain started pouring on the circuit after 40th lap,Hamilton saw a window of oppurtunity and he Grabbed it.He came so close to Kimi that Kimi became nervous and collided his car on the wall.

So for me that's the attitude which we should carry in our professional life.Look for an oppurtunity and when you get the oppurtunity,Grab it.Remember god only give one chance to prove yourself.And if that chance is gone,then your life gonna be miserable.

Hhh! good lesson learnt.Let me see as if i can apply it in my professional life.

I hate writing about politics and all that stuff. Politics always piss-off you.
But i want to share this disturbing real story which i came across yesterday here in India.
Here it goes

My exams are starting from this Monday,so i went to market to buy 2nd hand books.I called up my book dealer who sells 2nd hand-books and inquired about few books.He gave me a positive reply and asked me to reach at his shop as soon as possible.He told me that the demand of that particular book which i needed is touching skies,so reach ASAP else i won't get the book.

It was around 1 in noon when i finally reached at his shop(i am kinda lazy guy.can't help).Instantly he showed me the books which i needed desperately.

As i was inquiring about the books,i started getting an intuition that something is wrong with this place.I checked the surrounding and found that only few people are turning up to his shop.May be,this is because of the fact that day was sunday and people love to enjoy their sundays..

But,a enormous figure who looked like a Muslim Cleric was sitting on a chair which was near to my dealers shop.His face expression was numb.

What is MTV Roadies?
MTV Roadies is an adventure reality show aired on MTV India. It's the brainchild of none other but Raghu, who is the person who selects the Roadies from the contestants.
Contestants selected are given the tag Roadies. Quite simply the selected contestants, or Raodies are given bikes to travel on a pre-decided route. Each episode features a vote-out at the end in which the Roadies eliminate one or more of their fellow Roadies, thereby decreasing the number of roadies carrying on with the journey.
So, an elimination till only one is left. To make the show exciting the crew changes conditions depending upon prevailing politics and groups among the Roadies.To further the element of uncertainty, voted out Roadies can be reinstated any time. Riding the bike is also an equally
important task of the game.
Game Format
The Roadies and the crew travel their route, stopping by at hotels and performing unique challenges set out in the local place. Each episode consists of number of tasks or challenges which they have to perform. These tasks can be either "Money tasks" or "Immunity tasks"
or "Advantage tasks".
In the "Money tasks", the Roadies collectively perform the challenges and add cash to the winner's account. What might get the Roadies pumped up to perform, because secretly they all might be imagining themselves, taking home the booty.
In "Immunity tasks", the winning Team/Roadie gets Immunity, which means that they survive that vote-out.
In the "Advantage Tasks", which has been introduced from the Season 5.0, the winner(s) get some advantage in that vote out. The exact advantage decided by the production, and revealed at the vote-out with the purpose to spice things up and possibly spoil any plans and group
votes. It may include multiple votes, or being the only ones to vote in the vote-out.
The above mentioned tasks are either team-based (ie performed between two or more teams) or individually. At the end of scheduled journey, the last Roadie who survives till the end is the winner and walks away with the total cash accumulated by the performance of all the Roadies.
Being such a tough competition, the top three Roadies are taken on an equal footing. As a matter of fact, they are immortalized in "Morgue" in the "Roadies Rehab Center" quite adoringly!

Getting selected
Just before you jump, an insider info, the interview round is deliberately acrimonious (bitter and sharp in language or tone, taunting, incisive, caustic, possibly insulting) to test the participant's attitude, tolerance and patience levels.
That said. waste no time and sign up for the auditions of Roadies 6.0 here. And then this feast yourself to a mini Interview with Raghu himself. The page is heavy and takes time to load, but believe it, you'll enjoy the rants and swearing, and it might even be a little of an eye-opener.
Some tips:
There is no limit as to how many times a person can audition. So, itmight be better to begin attempts from the first venue. Remember Ashutosh from season 5.0. He was rejected in two and selected in thirdattempt. Because he tried in all of them.
Do not portray any thing just be real.

I think best strategy in MTV roadies 6.0 audition would be to "BE HONEST". Nothing else works in front of Raghu.

if you have tried for MTV roadies and you didn’t get selected thenits your fault. This I am saying because what I saw is that Nikhil andRaghu want only honest persons to come for the auditions. The participants trying to fake that they are tough and they can take any challenge in Roadies. But what I saw that this fakeness is making Raghu and Nikhil mad and crazy. Participants are not accepting that Raghu and Nikhil have come to know that they are faking. One of the most stubborn of them is Kabir who first time came as a blind person in Delhi’s audition and next time he comes to Jaipur and claims that he has fooled Raghu and Nikhil. All viewers saw what happened at Delhi’s audition. As soon as Kabir said the reason of his bike accident Nikhil knew that Kabir is faking.
Other participant who got selected who was stubborn at starting is Vikrant. But what went in his favor that he accepted that he made a mistake. But the biggest trait which I think the judges like about Vikrant is that he was saying what he really felt.

Sonel got selected because she accepted that she is wild. And did what judges said. She got selected not because she did what judges said but she got selected because they saw that she can tackle other MTV roadies. Same way at Jaipur, Ashutosh was the only person who clearly
showed that he is what he says.

Well well even Raghu would be surprised to be on the other side, and
yes, even though he has not only scripted but created the Roadies,
he'll too falter once in a while

as a producer, I have to
create a balance b/w the 12 unknown guys and gals and this bald guy
[:P]...I feel ppl want to watch a balanced show...so I cannot let
Raghu's imposing persona to overshadow others, at least initially

Raghu
must know that he'll have to live with the 12 Roadies day in and day
out, do what Roadies do and yes, the tasks would be hidden from him
too- simple, you a Roadie, then expect to be treated as one.

that said and the usual procedure with my Team etc, let's move on how it will be different.................

1. Rahgu will not be judging the Contestants. This should get the rumor mills, blogs etc on fire

2. Raghu will also be kept underground and in dark re selected Roadies

3.
In the last Venue, Raghu will wait outside the day before, will stand
in the line, will particpate in GD, and GIVE the Interview and yes,
shield the taunts.

Of course, he will be selected, but
after a bloody Interview, so that the people are forced to think, that
even *he* might have been rejected.

4. I know and you know,
that the youth "hates" Raghu and the Roadies might not know each other
but they definitey know Ragu and will *unite* to kick him out in the I
episode only.

I'll discuss with my Team, and if it would
not be fun (I think so) to have him out in I, then we'll have to script
some workaround, maybe a (sham) task etc in which Raghu survives the I
vote out.

It would be then his personality at test, that he
forms or not forms rapport with suffcient no. of fellow Roadies. I
think from that point he would be on his own...

and then
guys the show will take its normal course.....vote-outs,
reinstatements, crushes, funny moments, bonding, bitching.....

In
the aftershows, a discussion with Raghu on how "this changed his Life",
"his opinion on Roadies" and then with all that glamour, we would
conclude that Raghu will be back to his rudeness.

Nokia Will Release N96 in India-September

One of the most awaited smartphones of 2008, Nokia's brand new N96, will be first released in India, ahead of all the other countries that expect the handset's commercial availability.

The Indian division of Nokia has presented the N96 during a recently-held event, saying that Indian users would be able to buy it starting September. The retail price of the new Nseries smartphone will be somewhere around 36,000 INR (828 USD or 526 Euros).

This kind of price undoubtedly makes the N96 out of reach for many mobile users across India. However, if we think about all the features that Nokia has packed into the smartphone, the price is somehow justified.

According to Tech2, the Indian version of N96 will be special, coming with pre-loaded Bollywood content, including: the Om Shanti Om movie (full-length), around 50 music videos and lots of songs in both English and Hindi. The smartphone will have three full N-Gage games as well as the maps of India, Singapore and the UAE.
As for the "normal" features of the new Nseries, these include: a 2.8 inch TFT display with 16 million colors and QVGA resolution, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, flash and video recording, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, a huge internal memory of 16GB (expandable via a microSD or microSDHC card), GPS, Wi-Fi, full HTML browser, email, Media player with lots of formats supported, a 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio with RDS, TV out and DVB-H TV receiver, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and many others.

The N96 runs on Symbian S60 3.2 Edition and comes with a dual-sliding design that unveils an alphanumeric keypad as well as music and video controllers.

Customers in India can pre-book an N96 on Nokia's official website, found at nokia.co.in . After pre-booking (which requires a 4,000 INR fee), you should be pretty sure that you'll be among the first Indian users to own a Nokia N96 - but only in September, as the handset will not be available before.

The release dates for Nokia N96 in other countries are not officially confirmed for the moment, but the smartphone is said to hit the UK and the rest of Europe starting October. North America will probably get the new Nseries shortly after.

Radioandmusic.com’s Aaishwari Chouhan gets Nikhil Chinappa spilling the beans on his life, career graph and his latest venture with PDM - the Sunburn Festival in Goa.

Excerpts:

You started your career in radio and theatre in Bangalore. Were such unconventional careers as acceptable then as they are now?
Earlier, people were more aware of ‘traditional’ careers like medicine and law but of late, unconventional careers are becoming more acceptable. But I only believe in the fact that it is only passion that makes any career successful for the person pursuing it.

You came to Mumbai after winning the MTV VJ Contest. How did your life change after that?
Once in Mumbai, travel and work schedules became quite hectic because this is how it is for people who come to Mumbai to ground themselves here. There were two major things that I first did - (a) brought a hell lot of new underwear for myself and (b) learnt how to survive on cornflakes and milk for breakfast. Although I stayed in touch with all my friends back in Bangalore, making friends in Mumbai was very tough and it took me sometime before I got myself real good friends to hang out with.

You are also famous as the Flavour Boy on Madras FM. What’s with the Flavour Boy image?
Those were the best days of my life. I enjoyed life the most on radio. Radio is a medium where you instantly play music, whereas on television or elsewhere, you stand in front of the camera and schedule the music to be played. If ever I have to choose between theatre, veejaying or radio, I would like to go back to radio. In fact, I would like to have a radio station of my own and play music as I want to. But this is exactly what we are doing at Sunburn 2007. We are getting the best DJs to perform with the aim of playing music for everyone to make the listening enjoyable. I always wanted these DJs to play in India, and with PDM and Smirnoff thinking on the same lines as I do, Sunburn finally happened.

In 2000, you appeared in a movie called Snip and then in Kudiyo ka Hai Zamana. Do you think you will have to work really hard on the acting end to make it as a successful actor?
I am very clear that I am not an actor. It irritates me to paint my face and wait for hours before a five-minute shot. But this doesn’t mean that I have cut all my options out on the acting end. I am okay with fun roles and fun scripts. In fact, Snip and Kudiyon ka hai Zamana happened because I liked my roles there. I have zero Bollywood intentions which is very unlike any other television personality. I have a mind of my own!

What made you shift to deejaying in 2002? Why have you been away from trick deejaying?
For me, music is above everything else. Trick DJ with something like scratching and all while playing music, adds on to the DJ’s performance for sure. But the core of deejaying, which is about what song to play and when to play it and how to blend it with other songs, is what every DJ should specialise in before opting for trick deejaying. Although I have always been away from trick deejaying, I concentrate more on the other aspects of deejaying. For instance, programming is the main aspect. Playing good music for at least three to four hours is what the DJ should know well. That’s his job! Other than that, working with equipments, multi-players, effects machines, looping are the other aspects of deejaying. For me, deejaying happened out of frustration. I mean, I was so sick of the song ‘Kaliyon ka Chaman’ that to make sure that no such song is every played at any pub; I got into deejaying.

Being an architecture student, you never thought of pursuing architecture seriously?
I miss my career in architecture. I wish I could take up two jobs at the same time. But architecture is the kind of career which requires all your time and cannot be done part time; apart from the fact that you can do your own house or your friends’ houses. And I have done the interiors of my house, according to what I feel and what makes me what I am.

How has an academic grounding in architecture help you in your career graph?
While hosting shows for MTV, it is my academic background which helps me talk, behave and react the way I do. And at Sunburn, it is because of architecture that I can take decisions on a lot of things. I believe, the landscape matters the most. Architecture has helped in arranging for the layout of Sunburn as in where will the ticket counters be, how many ticket counters I want, their sizes, the add-ons to the counter and all that. Because these are all the things that make the most of the space and it is finally what people notice when they step anywhere first. I want people to enjoy from their very first step into the festival and that can be done with the right kind of architectural sense.

And where does all the madness and razor sharp humour come from?
Coffee! But truly speaking, I have an attitude wherein I can’t tolerate fools for any which reason. I am kind of an extreme person as in either I will have zero interest in something or else will be completely sucked into it. I also love not being mad and just sitting with a cup of tea back home and reading a book. So my life in extremes is what the root to all my madness is.

How would you introduce Sunburn to someone who has never heard about it?
Hmm… I would say that Sunburn is Asia’s biggest music festival happening at Goa. It’s happening on a beach and in daytime so don’t forget to carry your hat and sunglasses. Even if you don’t understand the music, this festival is entirely fun-oriented and will open you to a new, great experience.

So, whose baby is Sunburn?
I can simply say the idea was PDM’s and the creative input is from my end. Smirnoff has a great role in all the ground research and activity which is why Sunburn is actually happening.

And what’s your involvement with PDM?
I am the creative consultant at PDM and their festival partner. I look after the creatives and the content. Apart from this, I am not involved with PDM any which way.

How have you been able to be creative at MTV?
At MTV, we actually have a tough time convincing the producer to allow more experiments with the show we work on.

For instance, we just had in-house shoots for MTV Select and then, one day it struck me to go to the college campus for it and it worked out well. And then, the idea of having a bathroom set-up; this has been the most spoken about concept that we used at Select but now we have ripped it apart. Also, when stars come on the sets of Select I never make them feel as if they are stars and even they enjoy it. It’s simply because people are tired of listening to ‘Aapne iska music banaya. Aapko kaisa laga?’ Getting into an informal conversation with the stars is what makes the show different and is liked more by the audience.

With MTV, how has your job profile grown? And with MTV revamped - what is your contribution overall presently?
With MTV, I am more into improvising my shows and all my creatives mostly revolve around my own shows only. But with MTV going online, I am trying to contribute to the digital end as well.

What’s the next big thing for Nikhil Chinappa apart from Sunburn?
Hopefully, Andaman & Nicobar Islands is what I am planning around February. I have taken 49 dives all together and I expect my 50th dive to be at Andaman & Nicobar. Also hopefully again, I am planning to take a month off and go for a vacation. So these are the two big things that I am looking forward to in 2008.

ROCK ON!! is the story of four friends [Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Luke Kenny] who put together the greatest band this country has ever seen, Magic, but never make it. Years later, fate conspires to bring them together again and set them on a journey back to where they left off... a soul-searching pilgrimage into their past.

ROCK ON!! bears some resemblance to the Hollywood film THAT THING YOU DO [Tom Hanks], but it could be a mere coincidence. Director Abhishek Kapoor sets it in the Indian milieu efficiently. Watch the bonding shatter into pieces for no fault of anyone in particular actually. It's the circumstances that play the villain here and Abhishek captures it on lens so beautifully. The fragile relationships, how piece after piece is put together and the journey to the climax… the narrative is so compelling, it makes you feel you're witnessing all of it first-hand.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's music is perfect. It's completely in sync with the mood of the film. Connoisseurs of music have already showered the music with rave reviews and rightly so! Jason West's cinematography is fantastic. The screenplay and dialogues are commendable.

Every performance in the film deserves brownie points. Farhan Akhtar makes his debut as an actor and he displays rare maturity for a first-timer. Known as an accomplished director all along, Farhan will now be acknowledged as a mature actor as well. Arjun Rampal delivers his finest performance to date. Watch him emote those tough emotional moments and also as a failed person in the latter parts and you'd realize that he has only grown with the passage of time. Superb is the word!

THE STORYLINE

Four friends share a common passion for music and form a rock band called Magik. Aditya (Farhan Akhtar) is the lead vocalist, Joe (Arjun Rampal) is the guitarist, KD (Purab Kohli) is the drummer and Rob (Luke Kenny) handles the keyboard. They get a chance to cut out an album but things don't work out and the group splits to go their separate ways.

A decade later Aditya's wife Sakshi (Prachi Desai) attempts to reunite the group. After some initial hiccups and ego clashes, the band members bond and blend to brew good tunes. Predictably the climax is set in a rock concert where the band performs to perfection.

ZZZZ(felt sleepy)

The storytelling is somewhat slow and drags in the preliminary portions. The film gets into frequent flashback episodes and at times you are caught unaware on the instance where it ends. Even the back-story takes a tad bit long to reach to the point where the band disperses. Unimaginatively the screenplay uses the same scheme of a rock concert for its first key plot-point and also the climax. But seemingly that was inevitable since the genre of the film restricts its creative scope. Also Farhan Akhtar's breakup with his girlfriend doesn't come across quite convincingly.

KUCH POSITIVES

On the upside, the musical theme of the film is ably supported by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's rocking score. For once you don't feel that songs are forced in a Bollywood film. There's also a splendid spoof on how the band merges rock with dandiya to gain some quick money. How one wishes the film had more of such lighter moments which would have accentuated the youthful appeal to Dil Chahta Hai extents. The director also manages to pull off a subtle satire on Anu Malik, while casting him at his own expense.

Neha(name changed), a gal . . living in delhi , a rotractor she was a member of ou team , of my project XYZ(name changed) , which is an international aids awareness campaign started by us to help the people suffering from aids .. we do lots of things in it . . but tats not wat i intend to write here , and yeah im the Fucking Project Chairman !!!

Our solan co head , came up with an idea of using internet as a medium of spreadint the word abour our project , i made an orkut profile , and then gave him the password .He had a frnd , Neha(name changed) a close frnd of his , so he asked her to take care of orkut profile . and in a short span of time she added 500 frnd and the community tat she floated had close to 90 members . this was indeed a great effort she was telling everyone about our project .. was asking them to support our project .. something which is good for our project . .

But some how rahul(name changed) the ass hole had poblems PROBLEMS .. may be he was thinking tat wat she is doing is bad .. she used to talk in a casual manner which mandy thought was wrong as i thought it was making fun of our project , may be the reason was mandy mandy felt his authority was been over taken .

One day rahul had a heated argument with her told her to talk formally with other rotractors on orkut .. and else . coz rahul the fucker thouth tat her way of talking was pervertish

And then when the anand (name changed) came to chandigarh to have a meeting with us we had the worst talk ever .. the main reason for the fight was not neha though . . but we acussed her of something it was me and my club president . . dont know weather we were right or wrong .. but now i surely feel i was wrong and that my behaviour was bad .

Today i visited XYZ orkut profile and saw something like " im sorry to hear tat" "how did that happen" , " she will goto heaven" and i called up anand sir . . and he told me that Nidhi was suffering from AIDS , and it was only she , him and her family who knew about it . but one day by mistake she left her file in the college and then every fucker got to know about that .and then those fucker buged her alot , passed comments , her sister , mother passed commnts on her and made her life a hell , her neighbours didnt miss a chance to piss her off .. and SHE COMMITTED SUICIDE

WHY IS IT tat only after soome one leaves the world we feel that we should have apologised for our behaviour .. or tat wwat we did was bad . why only after tat person leaves us .. why only when we dont have any chance of undoing the past . .

We bloody fuckers are fighting for aids and we lost our own member who just cudnt the shit of our society anymore .. we live in a society where if some one has a disease which will reduce his/her life to 10 years . we try our best to make it even shorter . . we call our selves human . when we bloody hate life .. feelings , emotions , love . . every second person here talks of love , but when it comes to actually showing it . we act like monsters , emotion less , feelingless , insensitive pricks . .

Ish and Omi.
It took me about 7 hours to completely read the book till end.
Govind is the narrator in the book. his character is of a emerging businessman in sub-urban
areas of Gujarat,India.Govind as a narrator was an interesting character,the way he tutor
his best friend's sister,Vidya and end up falling in love with her; the way he thinks
as a businessman etc.

Ish,plays the character of cricket-crazy fan and cricket coach for the local guys.

Omi,son of a priest,unlike his friends,was searching his passion in life & he ends
up as a follower of hindu- hardliner's.
Author has indirectly pointed on the Bharatiya Junta Party as a pro-hindu party and
Congress as a secular party.

the story starts at Ish home,where he and his friends namely Govind and Omi were watching
cricket match on television.Govind,comes with an Idea of setting up a cricket shop:The team
India cricket shop.
then,story turns towards the mean politics in our country,were Hindu hardliners want to
eat every muslim residing in India. The book clearly gives the view of an young Indian regarding the
infamous Ayodhya temple.

meanwhile,book twists and turns to a young boy,Ali, who can clear any boundary of any
cricket stadium.Ish starts giving coaching to Ali..

all these guys along with Ali go to Australia thanks to a Australian cricketer Fred.
Ali refuses to play for Australia and they comes back..

well, i should not tell all the story,you yourself must read the book and find out the
3 mistakes of the narrator,Gopi. i can only tell you that if you had read the previous books
of the author,then who ll be little disappointed after reading the book.
Chetan Bhagat best book is still "FIVE POINT SOMEONE".and any Indian can easily relate
himself with that novel.
"the 3 mistakes of my life" is just a time-pass book.the best thing in the book is that
Chetan Bhagat would keep you hooked till the End.and the worst thing is that plots in the
book like a small kid hits six in every ball,the Godhra holocaust etc seems unreal..
but,who cares;"the 3 mistakes of my life" is a fiction..
the book end is like a typical hollywood movie.that's,HAPPY ENDING..

so my suggestion is to read this book only if you are vella(free) like me..

Just while watching MTV india,today morning,i came to know about a active group of
Youngsters,in mumbai ( i guess), who has started an Organisation as FIGHT BACK.

when i dug more and searched on the google, i found this organisation very interesting.
Being active member of various Social Organisations and societies.I think "Fight back"
is a great platform to raise your voice.
Even here In Chandigarh,having highest per capita income in India;the Incidents like
Women molestation are very common.I remember a Incident which occurred few weeks back
in which,a Father continously raped his daughter for 4 years.The girl was 12 years old
when some NGO rescued her.So,a girl who is just 8 years old was being raped,And no
one in the locality came to rescue her.Quite shameful.
The girl,when rescued,had various mental disorders,as reported in newspapers,she
used to tremble when some one comes near to her.She wouldn't eat anything in evening.
And in Evening,she would start crying even in the hospital.
besides this horrible Incident,their are others which make front page news.but media
after covering them for 2-3 days,just forget about it.Even the public here,don't make
any affort to carry on the fight against injustice.

Well,the front page of Fight-back(website) describes itself as:

and as seen in MTV,this organisation is going to people and educated them about this
gender bias in India and also giving legal knowledge to common public.

but,last and not the least,i guess this organisation is active only in Mumbai and
adjoining areas.If they have to make any impact,they need to expend it further in
all cities and smaller towns were any incident of women molestation goes unnoticed in
media and in public eyes.

Just read somewhere that Pratibha patil,India's president is endorsing an idea of having
a All girl IIT here in India.

but,ask Any IITian or NITian,about the 1st thing they miss while entering in the college
premises.
Almost everyone like me,the 6 pointers, would reply: GIRLS..
yes,we miss those hot girls of our school time. At that time we didn't had time for girls.
we were preparing for the toughest entrance exam of India.we used to avoid girls
like the plague.

but,after entering in one of the best Engineering college,we realised the importance
of sexy and hot girls.you can't do anything without them.The desperation for gals
is evident when you enters in the boy's hostel guys.I won't explain how much desperate
guys become..

so,the best solution is not to make an exclusive IIT for girls,but keep some percent of
quota for hot girls.Hot girls may include the models who failed to make any impression
on the ramp,and are still struggling.

this will definitely help us to score good marks.our CGPA would touch 9 to 9.5.
as,guys wants to be in the good books of a girl.

Hinduism has clearly separated these two right since its known history. The principles are presented in texts classified as 'Sruthis', which primarily comprise the part of the Vedas called Upanisads. The changable texts are classified as 'Smritis', which include various texts on etiquette, moral and ethical codes of conduct, law and justice. The former form the universal principles and the latter form their culture-dependant implementation. The essential principles of Hinduism are the same as they were concieved of by the sages who lived during the Vedic period. Even the Vedas have come down to the present day unaltered. The Vedas are being chanted even today with the same melody and rhythm as they were chanted during the Vedic age. The social customs and values have changed to cater to the needs and to utilize the means of changing times and culture, without altering the basic principles and goals.
1.3. Why is there so much confusion about Hinduism ? I see Hinduism as a mass of conflicting ideas.
Due to the enormous time period through which Hinduism has been practised, it has passed through a huge spectrum of cultural environments. Due to this, the non-essential portion of Hinduism has passed through so much changes in various places during various times. This has resulted in a situation where even people who have born and grown in Hinduism face a lot of difficulty in understanding Hinduism. Many see Hinduism as a huge mass of conflicting ideas. This is mainly due to two interrelated reasons.
Not distinguishing between the essentials and the non-essentials.
Trying to apply the culture-dependant non-essential concepts out of context.
This gives rise to a plethora of questions in the minds of almost anyone who come in touch with Hinduism. This FAQ is an attempt to answer a few of these questions.
1.4. What are the basic principles of Hinduism ?
The basic principles of Hinduism are in the Upanisads. They have been collected, organized and explained in various other texts, but the root source are the Upanisads. Hinduism has three basic principles.
It is God who has become this Universe and everything in it.

Whatever is seen, dreamed or imagined are nothing but manifestations of God. God is beyond space, time, causation and all distinctions like gender, race, species, living/non-living and form/formless. Since He is beyond space, He is omnipresent. Since He is beyond time, He is eternal. Since He is beyond the concept of form, He is with form, without form, both and neither. Every form is His and yet He is formless and beyond the concept of form. Similarly with all attributes concievable by the mind.
The aim of life is to 'know' God.

God cannot be 'known' in the usual sense of the word. God is the Knower of everything. We call it 'realizing' God. This is beyond the mind. It is a direct experience of God. This is the ultimate goal of life. Till we reach this goal, we will have to live again and again. Till we reach this goal, we have to undergo birth, death and again birth and so on. Everytime we are born, we continue our journey towards the goal from where we left. So nothing is lost by death on this journey. When the goal is reached, there is no need for anymore death or birth. The person is said to have attained Immortality. Actually the person goes beyond all limitations. Even the basic limitations imposed by the concept of individuality and personality vanish.
There are intermediate milestones and targets set by Hinduism. They are Dharma - righteousness, Artha - wealth acquired by righteous means and Kama - quenching of desires within the limits of Dharma and Artha. As there is a scope for lot of misconception about these intermediate targets, there are several texts explaining them. These are intermediate targets and not ends. The ultimate aim is Moksha - freedom from limitations by God realization. Dharma, Artha and Kama should be stepping stones and thus means to the end, which is Moksha. But this does not mean that Artha and Kama are forbidden by Hinduism. According to Hinduism, if people pursue and enjoy Artha and Kama within the boundaries of Dharma, they will naturally develop the maturity to enquire and aspire after Moksha in due course of time.
As many people, so many ways to God.

Every religion is a way to God. No way to God is superior to the other. However, depending on the mental temperament and cultural background of a person, one way might be better suited to him than another. This is difference arises due to the difference in the temperament of the person and cannot be used to judge the general efficacy of a path. "All paths are true. Your path for you. My path for me." This is the principle of Hinduism.
Everything else is secondary and should not violate these three basic principles.

WHAT IS LOVE?

What is love? It is one of the most difficult questions for the mankind. Centuries have passed by, relationships have bloomed and so has love. But no one can give the proper definition of love. To some �Love is friendship set on fire� for others �Maybe love is like luck. You have to go all the way to find it�. No matter how you define it or feel it, love is the eternal truth in the history of mankind.

Love is patient, love is kind. It has no envy, nor it boasts itself and it is never proud. It rejoices over the evil and is the truth seeker. Love protects; preserves and hopes for the positive aspect of life. Always stand steadfast in love, not fall into it. It is like the dream of your matter of affection coming true. Love can occur between two or more individuals. It bonds them and connects them in a unified link of trust, intimacy and interdependence. It enhances the relationship and comforts the soul. Love should be experienced and not just felt. The depth of love can not be measured. Look at the relationship between a mother and a child. The mother loves the child unconditionally and it can not be measured at all. A different dimension can be attained between any relationships with the magic of love. Love can be created. You just need to focus on the goodness of the other person. If this can be done easily, then you can also love easily. And remember we all have some positive aspect in us, no matter how bad our deeds maybe. And as God said �Love all�

Depending on context, love can be of different varieties. Romantic love is a deep, intense and unending. It shared on a very intimate and interpersonal and sexual relationship. The term Platonic love, familial love and religious love are also matter of great affection. It is more of desire, preference and feelings. The meaning of love will change with each different relationship and depends more on its concept of depth, versatility, and complexity. But at times the very existence of love is questioned. Some say it is false and meaningless. It says that it never exist, because there has been many instances of hatred and brutality in relationships. The history of our world has witnessed many such events. There has been hatred between brothers, parents and children, sibling rivalry and spouses have failed each other. Friends have betrayed each other; the son has killed his parents for the throne, the count is endless. Even the modern generation is also facing with such dilemmas everyday. But �love� is not responsible for that. It is us, the people, who have forgotten the meaning of love and have undertaken such gruesome apathy.

In the past the study of philosophy and religion has done many speculations on the phenomenon of love. But love has always ruled, in music, poetry, paintings, sculptor and literature. Psychology has also done lot of dissection to the essence of love, just like what biology, anthropology and neuroscience has also done to it.

Psychology portrays love as a cognitive phenomenon with a social cause. It is said to have three components in the book of psychology: Intimacy, Commitment, and Passion. Also, in an ancient proverb love is defined as a high form of tolerance. And this view has been accepted and advocated by both philosophers and scholars. Love also includes compatibility. But it is more of journey to the unknown when the concept of compatibility comes into picture. Maybe the person whom we see in front of us, may be least compatible than the person who is miles away. We might talk to each other and portray that we love each other, but practically we do not end up into any relationship. Also in compatibility, the key is to think about the long term successful relationship, not a short journey. We need to understand each other and must always remember that no body is perfect.

Be together, share your joy and sorrow, understand each other, provide space to each other, but always be there for each others need. And surely love will blossom to strengthen your relationship with your matter of affection.

Handling Frustration

I am yet to see someone who says “I never get frustrated”. We as humans always experience frustration in our daily lives. However sometimes we let this frustration take over that hampers our activities and actions. We need to control and handle the frustration.

What is frustration? Frustration is the act of reacting to an event which is not desirable. I would like you to spend sometime on what I have mentioned Frustration is. It is REACTION that causes the frustration. The moment an event occurs you do not ponder on that, you do not have time to think on that and decide how to handle the situation. The immediate action is impulsive and you react immediately. There is another way you can handle the same event. Instead of reacting, you could RESPOND to the same event. The moment you RESPOND to the event rather than reacting you never get frustrated. Remember the event has already occurred which means that you cannot do anything about the event now. And you have a Choice to respond the way you want to.

If you start looking at events as events that cannot be avoided and has already occurred then you ponder for solutions rather than disturbing yourself by reacting. This is the easiest way to change the feeling of frustration. To start focusing on solutions rather than the so called “PROBLEM”, that disturbs you. If you were to curse yourself, blame yourself and scream at yourself you only end up feeling worse. This is self sabotage. Interestingly you can consciously get angry and get angry and frustrated by reacting to an event. You tend to loose more energy within you when you get frustrated and the “PROBLEM” though does not even exist, seems to be existing and never is solved.

As you look at event and tell yourself “This event has already happened and is inevitable”, you would only respond and not react. Moments before the outburst of emotions and frustration there is a process that is involved. You run picture of the event in your mind that leads to an intensive helpless state and fires as frustration. It is better to control the emotion as that will do a lot of good because your reaction of frustration could be so intense that it can only intensify more. Though some do suggest that giving vent to these feelings is good and acceptable I do not authenticate this theory as the ramifications are very high.

3 most important points that you must have in mind to manage frustration – 1) Accept the fact that getting frustrated is a common human act. 2) Learn from the frustration and move forward instead of getting worked on it 3) Start creating a new belief for yourself that there are other better ways of handling situations that you are aware of

You are so much involved and totally associate with the event that frustration crops up and then it just runs through you. Yes it is very important for you to be associated, to be in the thick of things for achieving your outcomes. But when you do not get the desired results you must do the devils advocate. You need to step out of yourself and look at things from a 3^rd persons view, which means that you are disassociating yourself and you would tend to look at solutions rather than feel frustrated and have the feeling of let down.

I sometimes advocate frustration and a certain amount of frustration is always good because it means that you are expecting better results from yourself. You want more for yourself and hence get frustrated. You are a Champ and you know that you can work out things better and then you get frustrated, which is an advantage for you. The questions you ask yourself can intensify or de-intensify your level of frustration. Recall the last time you were frustrated and look at all the questions you asked yourself. I am sure it would be questions like “Why the hell did this happen to me”, “This is so pathetic and life of so unfair” and so on…, Have you ever asked “What must I do to come out of this?”

Do this small exercise, recall an event that has been troubling you and for which you get frustrated because you do not get the desired outcomes. Ask your self “why the hell is this happening?” and experience how you feel. Isn’t it frustrating? I am sure it is. Now change the same question to “what must I do to over come this challenge”. Now how do you feel? You feel more in control of your emotions, your thoughts?
You have the Choice and frustrations are not external they are internal in nature and you know the consequences of frustration are so high. So the choice of not being frustrated will lead you to better outcomes in life. Enjoy every bit of life. All that happens has a purpose and has a positive intention. Look at the highest positive intention behind the event and why has the event occurred even though it was not favorable and negative. You can focus on the positive intentions, on the positive purpose which will lead you to a more peaceful and comfortable life.

Abhinav Bindra wins gold medal in olympics

India's Abhinav Bindra won the gold medal in the Men's 10m Air Rifle in Beijing on August 11 with an incredible performance in the final. Bindra shot a total score of 700.5.

China's Zhu Qinan, gold medalist at Athens 2004, won the silver medal with a total score of 699.7.

The bronze medal was won by Finland's Henri Hakkinen, who was leading the field after the qualification round, but was unable to hold off Bindra and Zhu in the final. The Finnish shooter shot a total of 699.4.

Abhinav Bindra is from my city-Chandigarh.i am feeling so proud. India has never won any gold medal in Olympics individuality.

I was in college when the news came.It is a great feeling. A guy from my city did what no one could do in last 112 years.The 100 million Indians all over the world must be proud of it. The atmosphere here in Chandigarh is fantastic. People are smiling,hugging.Even the strangers are wishing each other.Its fantabulous... Thanks Abhinav for doing, wat we couldn't do in last 61 years after Independence.

note:Last time India won olympics was in 1980.Till date (excluding today)India has won 13 medals,all were either silver or bronze.There was no gold medal. And all these medal were won by Indian hockey team except one which Major Rathore won in last olympics.

1st thing 1st: Don't carry your brain to theatre.The movie is typical bollywood movie with all drama,rona-dhona(good for girls)...It's loud,fast and funny

THE STORY
Lakhan Singh aka Lucky [Sonu Sood] is the King of the Australian underworld, accompanied by his associates [played by Javed Jaffrey, Neha Dhupia, Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma, Kamal Chopra and Sudhanshu Pande]. Far away, in a small village in Punjab, where Lucky was born, there exists someone more notorious than him - Happy Singh [Akshay Kumar].

The village is fed up of Happy's magnanimity, which has resulted in a number of hilariously disastrous situations. Out of desperation, they decide to send him on a long trip [that will keep him out of the village for a while!] to bring Lucky back to Punjab, as his despicable deeds were maligning their image in Australia.

The happy-go-lucky bumpkin, taking his mission a bit too seriously, embarks on his journey, accompanied by his friend, Rangeela [Om Puri], who hates Happy for dragging him into it.

The high point of his journey is his chance meeting with Sonia [Katrina Kaif], with whom he falls in love, but upon reaching his destination, things take a precarious turn as he runs into a series of comic misadventures, leaving him penniless. He is fortunate to find warmth and affection in an elderly lady [Kirron Kher].

In a strange turn of events, an attempt on Lucky's life is foiled by a well-intentioned Happy, who fights off the attackers by risking his own life. Following the altercation, Lucky lands up in hospital paralyzed and Happy, unexpectedly, finds the tables turned on him when he is expected to assume the role of the new King.

Few minutes into the film and you know that SINGH IS KINNG is a lavish spectacle that's high on entertainment. Sonu Sood chasing a gora assassin at the very start or minutes later, Akshay chasing a hen - SINGH IS KINNG starts with gusto.

And Bazmee doesn't let you wear your thinking caps all through the first hour. From India to Egypt to Australia, from the comforts of his home in Punjab, to the humble abode of a woman selling flowers in Sydney [Kirron Kher], SINGH IS KINNG involves you in the journey.

And then Akshay becomes the King. Oh, how he becomes the King is equally hilarious. The sequence at the hospital [Sonu Sood is diagnosed with a weird disorder] is simply hilarious. There's a twist in the tale at the intermission point and the second hour, therefore, shifts gears - it changes from kabhi funny, kabhi drama to a prem kahani.

It's smooth sailing till there's another twist towards the pre-climax [wouldn't like to reveal it, since it would act as a spoiler]. But, frankly, the film could've done without this track. The narrative, thankfully, is back on tracks soon after.

You listen a song for the first time from some source like radio,In TV or playing across the street.And you like it.How often it happens to you that you want that particular song at any cost?You go the best musical store of city.

and alas!

You forget the lyrics and name of the song.You only remember the Tune and rhythm of the song.You feel frustrated an dbang your head on the wall.

It happens to me often.I try my best to recall the lyrics of the song but NO avail.I criticise myself.i hate myself.That beautiful song.Oh..my god,tell me the title.

I ask my friends.They simply ask me,tell the title of the song.But i cant.

And when after some years,i hear the same song,I feel rejoiced,ecstatic.It's like winning gold medal in olympics.

I then go to the music store and buy the CD of that song.This time i remember the title and each and every world of the song.

I go back home and play the song continuosly for next 2 days.

But,after some days.That song becomes just like another normal song.No josh.You listen it not because you are enjoying listening that particular song but because you have nothing to do.

Lately,I felt that same thing can be applied to the human beings.We don't love those who are around us,but we love those who are away.That's by people, like those Movie stars more than own loved ones.

WHY WORRY?

I am in final year of my college.The various companies of different fields like IT,electronics, civil would be here in next week.But,i am feeling anxious and demented.Placement is definitely haunting me.Moreover,I still have not started preparing for the placements. The syllabus is enormous.And worst part of the story is that i won't be eligible for various companies due to my below average academic record.

I am worried and i guess in this world everybody is worried.parents worry about their children,wives about husbands etc.American are worried aboutout-sourcing of their jobs to India.Terrorists are worried about their next target andit's success.

But,from my experience i can argue that people who worry a lot are less effective than those don't;they get less work done and often are less happy.and i am one of those who worry a lot.

I am trying to find out the solutions so that i remain calm in difficult situations.
here is my invention(LOL).

Keep yourself busy.Look at rational assumptions of a problem and also alternative solutions.
Don't fuss about trifles.Don't permit little things to ruin your long-term happiness.
Avoid being in company of people who always find the negative in the positive(so Avoid Me).
Be aware of all the feelings experienced due to a problem and bury the past.
Be in sync with your natural sleep-wake cycle(It really helps).
When an option is not visible,sleep over the problem and you might find the answer next morning.The brain works calmly when you sleep.

Betrayal in friendship

True friends are hard to find and even harder to keep. With increasing corruption and disloyalty, it is hard to find the right person to trust and accept as a friend. With so many people believing in gossip and cheap plots, betrayal of friendship has become very common. People are so self absorbed these days that they don't tend to see whether the friends they have are trustworthy individuals or not. Worse are those people who betray true friends because of materialistic pleasures. Coping up with friends cheating is quite hard, more so if you have no fault of yours. But, life goes on and you make new friends. You push away your hurtful past and learn a valuable lesson from it.

When friends let you down and are not there for you when you need them the most, it is known as betrayal. Sometimes the reason why friends betray you is just not known. When you are at the receiving end, you feel hurt, confused and angry. You demand answers as to why have you been betrayed for absolutely no fault of yours. The talks end abruptly, phone calls are not returned, letters remain unanswered and there is no contact whatsoever. Hate it as much as you want, you will have to come to terms with reality and accept that things were not meant to be.

Though it may seem like the end of the world, there are ways to cope up with it. If the friendship has been ended by you, then there has to be reason concrete enough to justify the action you have taken. There is no point in dragging along a friendship when you know you are not comfortable with it. End it politely and quickly and most importantly, don't regret your action. If you start feeling sorry, you are putting yourself in trouble. There is a reason for every action you take and you must have thought a lot about it before taking a decision. Learn to trust your gut feelings and have confidence in yourself. Make sure you don't end the friendship (however short it may be) with bitter feelings and make it a bitter experience for yourself as well.

However, if you have been at the receiving end and feel that you have been betrayed for no fault of yours, it can be very hurtful. Don't be embarrassed to cry and scream. You have been hurt and you have the right to vent out your frustration. Believe me, you will feel a lot better after you have cried your heart out. Seek out other friends, siblings or your parents and talk to them.

Tell them you have been hurt and ask them for solace. You will be surprised to see that help was just around the corner. All that you needed to do was ask. One thing that should be remembered is that these betrayals are experiences that teach you valuable lessons in life. Don't be afraid to seek help and talk about it to others. Such betrayals should not stop you from trusting people and making new friends.

The Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Emperor(movie review)

the expectation were high.but The Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - is a fantasy adventure, but not one of the best.

I liked the first ‘Mummy’ and even enjoyed the second ‘Mummy’ but the third is just taking it too far, not to mention its probably one of the ten worst movies I’ve seen all year. The entire film felt like the writer was struggling to come up with ideas for a third installment, and that’s just the beginning of what’s wrong with this movie.
Brendan Frasier returns as the adventure-seeking archaeologist Rick O’Connell, this time retired and living life with his wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) who has made a small fortune from her two books, ‘The Mummy’ and ‘The Mummy Returns’. The couple pretends to be happy and settled down into their wealthy home life, but really they crave the excitement of their past adventures. As it turns out, their son Alex (Luke Ford) has taken to his father’s whims as an archaeologist prone to risky adventures. However, mummy and daddy think he’s still in college while he’s actually in China excavating the tomb of the mythic Dragon Emperor. Rick and Evelyn are contacted by a man to take on one last mission, they accept and when they arrive in China they discover what Alex has really been up to. Alas, the mission was a setup and now the family O’Connell must fight to survive while also keeping the now resurrected, but still cursed, Dragon Emperor (Jet Li) from reaching Shangri-La and taking a swim in the Pool of Eternal Life. If they can’t stop him, he will raise his army of indestructible soldiers and conquer the world.

if this plot breakdown sounds exciting to you, please reconsider. This movie is anything but exciting. A large portion of the film is actually painfully boring. The dialogue is atrocious, laden with one-liner quips and cliche’ puns and tongue-in-cheek humor that fails miserably. Frasier bombs at both the comedic aspects of his performance as well as the “attempts” at some serious father-son bonding scenes intended to invoke empathy. Worse yet, the romance story line between Rick and Evelyn is overdone, yet horribly under-achieved. Speaking of which, Maria Bello’s unforgivably BAD (fake) English accent just stands right up in front of everything else in the movie and says “look at me” like a massive red zit that makes an appearance right before a major event. Oh, but fear not… we get two love stories for the price of one. Alex develops an incredibly fast and unrealistically easy romance with Li (Isabella Leong) who happens to be the immortal daughter of Zi Juan (Michelle Yeoh), the immortal witch who was killed by the Dragon Emperor for betraying his love for her.
For a movie being marketed as a big-budget action adventure film, there is surprisingly less action and adventure than I had expected and of far less quality than the first two films, but is replaced with far more cheesy melodrama and poorly executed humor than any one person should ever be forced to endure. The one and only saving grace in ‘The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor’ is that the Yeti special effects were really pretty cool. Unfortunately, even an army of CGI yeti’s doesn’t stand a chance in saving this nuclear-class box office bomb from failing completely.

Should prostitution be legalised in India?

“Prostitution is the oldest profession in the world”.

hey live a terrible, wretched life in hellholes. The police are after them - but not after the real culprits - the pimps, the agents, the managers and other men who are merciless and exploit them. The only way to rescue and rehabilitate them is to legalise prostitution.

A woman - a citizen of India - must have the right to do whatever she likes with her own self. Nobody can tell her what she can and cannot do. She must be free to work out her own salvation. The question of ethics should not come into the picture. What is involved here is the liberty and the survival of the individual. If a woman wants to sell herself, she must have the right to do so. The whole question boils down to this: so long as a prostitute - a person who sells herself - does not hurt or harm others, she should be allowed to pursue her profession, earn money through it and survive. Society should create conditions in which a woman can earn money and survive. If a woman chooses prostitution and decide to practice and live by it, things should be easy for her to do so.

WHY LEGALISE?
1) If you legalise prositution,then you can pass a law which says prostitutes will have to register themselves and get themselves medically checked at regular intervals. There are countries like Australia, Holland, Sweden and some states in the US where prostitution is legal -- a situation which has disclosed several advantages. For example, in the American state of Nevada, clients have to use a condom. "Refusal can mean a jail term,". To get a licence, a sex worker goes through the sheriff's office, the Health Department and the State Prostitution Department. She is given a crash course in AIDS and stds before she gets a licence. Health checks are carried out once a week, and if someone tests positive for HIV the licence is revoked permanently.

2)Prostitution has emerged as the most dangerous conduit for the HIV virus in the country. The 40 lakh sex workers represent a threat that cannot even be imagined because the danger is multiplied due to mass ignorance about the disease in both the trade and the clientele. It is further compounded by the fact that the common man ordinarily shies away from approaching medical centres for help, in the process passing on the virus to their wives and, possibly, their offspring.Considering that India is sitting on a ticking AIDS bomb -- government statistics put
the percentage of HIV positive prostitutes at 70 per cent in Mumbai and 52 per cent in Delhi -- there does seem to be a strong case for official regulation of the trade.

3)At present, the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act (PITA) is silent about the legal position of prostitutes. It only considers the issue of preventing forced prostitution and categorises child prostitution, pimping and soliciting as illegal. But the law has its failings, and many feel that PITA has not been useful at all.In Mumbai, a sex worker has to pay local policemen between Rs 50 and Rs 200 a month as protection money.

I am desperately waiting for "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" Movie. I have watched the earlier parts in "the mummy" series so many that i can remember each and every scene from the earlier movies.

I am hoping that The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor Movie would a fantastic movie and would be able to stand on my expectations.

The action moves to the Far East for the Tomb of the Dragon Emperor where Rick (the returning Fraser) and his son Alex (Ford) dig up the mummy of the first Emperor of Qin (martial arts star Li) – a shape-shifting entity cursed centuries ago. Originally buried alongside 10,000 terra cotta soldiers, forces are in motion to bring him back from the dead in a re-conquest of China. Treks through the Himalayas, Yeti encounters, avalanches, three-headed dragons, pools of eternal life and epic battles will be ideal for mindless, end-of-summer fun.

The Mummy has never been the most highly respected of action movie series, but hopefully the appearance of Jet Li as Emperor Han will lead to a few examples of his martial arts expertise to go with the CGI action. Li has not been in a high profile blockbuster movie sequel like this since Lethal Weapon 4 first showcased his talents to mainstream action audiences. He failed to capture the hearts of western audiences in the same way as Jackie Chan in the films that followed, but here is an opportunity to be re-launched into the public consciousness. Whether he gets the chance to take centre stage as a shape-shifting baddie is another matter though.

The rest of the cast are in similar career lulls. Fraser has been relatively low key over the past few years, as has Hannah, which suggests the increasingly-respected Rachel Weisz turned down the chance to reprise her role as Rick’s wife Evelyn because she had better things to do. Maria Bello takes her place while Michelle Yeoh is also on board for the ride, presumably because she is a recognisable Asian actress. Previous director Stephen Sommers has not had a film released since the disappointing Van Helsing in 2004 but has opted to produce this third Mummy film in favour of other projects such as 2009’s G.I. Joe. Rob Cohen, who has recently been seen working on dumb action movies such as he Fast and the Furious, Stealth and xXx, has been given the reins for the third film so don’t be surprised if this is another high octane, low brains thrill ride. That said, the sight of a 10,000-strong terra cotta army marching towards world domination and led by Jet Li does sound like an impressive sight.

oh! Just watched RANG DE BASANTI.It must be 16th time i am watching this movie.
Just want to share what is going on in my mind after watching this movie.

Let me start from here:

Gone are the days of the Tonga,The british Raj.Indian,today has spanned the sky,measured the ocean and conquered the earth.In this new world of modernization,computerization and industrialization,Indians has come a long way.Today's child is no longer that little elfin creature,floating paper boats,or being lulled to sleep in his grandma's lap at night,listening to those never ending tales of goblins and fairies.Today's he is lost in maze of computer games and hi-tech toys.

There was a time when life was simple and social questions even simpler.Society consisted of an older generation and a younger generation and the twain met somewhere in between fast forward.Along came the new age sociologist with trendy buzzwords and powerpoint presentations.and suddenly,the whole generation was reduced to alphabets.The X generation,Y generation,The e-mail generation,baby boromers,the Millennial and the newly coined iGeneration.Sociology,demographics,the social sciences and the popular culture have all come together in one great melting pot to define who we are,the way we think and how we live.The old socialist mantra of 'rice in every bowl' has been replaced by 'a cell phone in every hand'.

The youth today is still wayward.Is it really so? I never voted in my life( i am 22 years old).But,after today's trust vote which eventually was won by UPA(United progressive alliance), i have to reconsider my decision of not voting during the general elections.

Today's trust vote in India was watched by millions of people in India.Even Ekta kapoor's masala soaps would have got less TRP than this parliament drama.The thrill was like a cricket match between Indian and pakistan.It was fantastic. Our MPs played all kind of roles.some MPs bought millions of Rupees to parliament house(pls give me 1% of it. LOL),Other MP's played important role in horse-trading.

The debate in the parliament house was one of the best thing in this melo-drama.Some MP'swho even don't know about ABC of the deal,what is 123 pact,were speaking as if they are the true warriors in bringing down the government.

i would like to speak about 2 persons in this whole episode.

MAYAWATI

she is the Chief Minister of Uttar pradesh and party leader of Bahujan samajbadi party(BSP).she called a press conference yesterday and told media that if this nuclear deal goes through,then it ll let to war between Iran and US..

How absurd!!

Can anyone tell me the relation between The nuclear deal between India & US AND the war
between Iran & US?? can anybody find the link between these two entirely different matters?

Secondly,mayawati wants to be the future prime minister of India.can anyone tell me where we young Indian will go? The reservations in her regime would be 99 percent.what will happen to India in which 70% of the population is below in their 30's? I can't accept a leader like her.

Ragging can be a fun activity.Ragging helps to break ice between seniors and juniors.
It helps the juniors to feel comfortable in the new college atmosphere.

Few ragging ideas are present here.
1)LIFT FROM TRAIN: Everyone in India,must have heard of shimla hill-station,and the
heritage train that runs from solan to shimla.The train is truly a heritage,
you can beat the train on your cylcle.The maximum speed of the train is 30KMPH.
The best think is to ask your junior to ask for the lift from the train.He/she will
show his hand when the train approaches him/her.A senior can make video of the guy.
If train stops,then run:). almost all trains in India run between 40 to 50 KMPH.so try this trick.

2) BIKING: I was ragged by my senior this way,4 years back. we were 2 juniors who tried
to hide from the seniors,but all in vain.they caught us and told us to wear the helmet of the bike.We wore the helmet.Then they told us to make sound of bike and start biking on foot.we were biking without any bike. It was fun.

3) Intro: ask your junior to give the introduction.It should be of 5 minutes minimum.Now
tell him to repeat the intro with addition of some sentence that must be added
after every single line of intro.

4)LIGHT SWITCH: this one for hostellers. Go the juniors room.hold the switch of bulb your hand. Ask your junior to shout all the bad words he/she knows.If he/she keeps
saying "stupid,idiot etc", don't switch of the light. Switch off only when you are satified with all his/her type of gaalis.

5) FIRST NIGHT: This one is again for hostellers.Ask your junior that what happens in the
first night after marriage.Now tell him to behave exactly like that night. If your junior is male,tell him to pretend like a female.And behave accordingly.bring milk to your husband.sit like a typical bollywood movie,and so on.

6)SAMOSA:give JUNIORS a mess ka samosa and ask them to sell it in the campus to sum1.

7)Tell juniors 2 propose senior galz who will be informed 4m b4 so tht c can kick his ass on doing so.....

8)Ask the junior to take a glass of water and run around the campus shouting fire fire.Ask the juniors to eat ALL the meals in the MESS for 2 weeks.

MTV splitsvilla,which comes in MTV india,every saturday,has become a weekly soap of soft
porn.You can't expect this from a national TV.Ya,it's true that MTV represents the
sentiments of most of Indian YOuth(including me),and i watch MTV the most.But, MTV
splitsvilla is simply a bloat on MTV india face.

I am great follower of MTV roadies,whose 5 version has just finished last month.I was hooked
to Roadies,i used to watch it even during my semester exams.In MTV roadies,contestant did used
those in indecent words(BEEP BEEP words),but MTV splitsvilla is is all about those vulgar
words.

Girls using "fuck you","fuck off"," you sucks" are normal words in MTV splitsvilla.But,
when girls starts talking about "the boobs" and "ass" of other girls,it becomes anomie,depraved.
I watched today's episode in which one girl was telling her friends about another girl.And
breaking all moral barrier's she was telling that the other girl must have got her "boob job"
done in silicon valley,USA.She even told the guys about how to turn-on that girl.And how
to fuck,fuck-hard.

And when i was astonished after hearing all this.Not because i hated this[:P],but because
you feel incomfortable when you are sitting with your family. 60% percent of websites in world
are related to porn,sex.Then,why show it In national TV.Whosoever wants to access those sites
,he/she is free to do it.

All this vulgar talk is good to make an episode peepy,but overdose of everything is bad.
We all liked MTV roadies,even though it contained all the non-sense.This is because
the contents of show were never seen before by a average Indian.The contents of MTV roadies
were best in all aspects.

But,MTV splitsvilla is all about boobs and ass and bitchiness . There is no content.

Finally I got my hands on the music album of “Singh is kinng”, one of the most hyped movies of the years because of being Katrina-Akshay’s another flick, the budget , Anees Bazmee (next after the blockbuster ‘Welcome’) and movie background.

1. Singh Is Kinng’:Singh is Kinng is a excellent mix of punjabi feel and rapping frolics by famed rapper Snoop Dogg. RDB, the Punjabi band from UK, does a fair job in the progress of the song. The song starts with a few synth bars repeating over and over. Snoop represents that “Poonjaaabi”, RDB, Akshay and Snoop D O double g…with
“Yo! Whaddup this is big Snoop Dogg, represent the Poonjabi,Ae Yo! Hit ‘em with this”
And then after this rap starts the thump, yes its is nothing but sheer thump brilliantly amalgamates western and Indian style music and marks the opening of the album. In this song you are going to witness a vivacious variation in music from plain rapping beats to the bhangra effect and the groove is really racy. This RDB track composed by Calvin Broadus with Surjeet Singh, Manjeet Ral and Kuljeet Ral and is all of sure going to be a chartbuster number.

Song-02 - Ji Karda (Labh juneja, Suzie Q) - A typical punjabi song with moments of anticipation, followed by a big BAAAAAAAAANG!. Quite un-pritam like I must say. Labh Juneja has become my favorite from the time I heard his song - Pyaar kar ke pachtaya from pyar ke side effects! The way the song starts with Paaji Paaji actually makes you wonder if this movie is going to be a spoof or ’wilfully non-sensical’ movie!

The thing to watch out in this song is a continous siren like sound going in the background, yet not disturbing the flow of the song.

Song-03 - Bas ek King (Mika, Hard kaur and Ashish Pundit) Typical 1990s song in which the title of the film will be repeated till you get deaf or shut the music! Mika is good. Nothing much can be said of this song!

Song-04 - Bhootni Ke (Daler Mehndi) - The less we speak of this song the better. While some may argue that its a humrous song with elements of fun..I strongly feel that having this kind of a title for the song is not a wise thing to DO. Imagine kids singing this. There are no abuses in the song alright but then do we really need these kind of words to ’cook a controversy?’

Having a blasphemous title gets this song off my rating list and hence wont mention anything to watch out for

Song-05- Teri Ore -(Rahat fateh ali Khan and Shreya ghoshal) - The mandatory melodious song of the album. Rahat sahab is slowly walking away with some very soulful songs as other watch. A very cute song.

Love the way this song begins!

Song 06 - Talli Hua (Labh Juneja & Neeraj Sridhar) - Neeraj sridhar comes back to sing the last song of the album which is a tad loud but hearing the song, you will get the feel that it would be a moment - specific song which could grow on you when you see the movie

Do hear the way neeraj sridhar says - sorry sorry sorry very sorry very sorry! Thats just plain brilliance! Being a singer, if one can act in his songs it is a great quality to have!

few days ago.And as usual,it was soothing,heart-touching,relaxing.It ll certainly pacify any

I often follow short form of English while SMSing someone.
The conventional "too" has become "2",GD for "good night",TC for "take care",UR for "you are"
and so on..

They say(especially my english teacher):
The SMS mode of communication has not only corrupted the English language,but has also
sparked a trend of unusually spelt words that are being used in resumes and also while
writing exams.

WE SAY:
We don't see any harm in using short forms,as long as the message is clear.
Also,most English words are twice as long as they need to be,staggering under a weight
of unvoiced vowels and surplus consonants.Surely,we are saving paper and helping examiners with
the brevity.All change must start somewhere and already a million fingers are tapping
out a revolution..

The new Batman movie The Dark Knight is long, loud, and agonizing, 2 1/2 hours of bipolar soul-searching, much of it about the nature of heroism. If you look at all the issues -- the way we count on others to save us and then hate them for it, the propriety of using illegal force for the greater good, the utter coolness of fast, bulletproof vehicles -- it's easy to see parallels with Iraq and Gitmo and Afghanistan and lots of other current events. Perhaps the superhero film has always plumbed such depths of the American soul, but the American soul may not have cared so much before. Batman is the right movie at the right time, especially if you have a burning desire to be excited and depressed simultaneously.
The film takes place in large, half-empty rooms or soaring above modern cities: it's the most architectural of the summer films, a cityscape of terrors that is another indication that Batman may be Us and Gotham may be Here. There are three sides to its mad triangle: "The Batman," as he's quaintly called, played for the second time by Christian Bale as tormented billionaire Bruce Wayne, realizes the stain on his soul and thirst for revenge cannot be cleansed by arresting villains -- although arrest them he must; The Joker, a stupendous creation by the late Heath Ledger and portrayed as a psychotic butcher with a fondness for carving people a new smile ("why so serious?," he asks, licking his lips frequently); and between them, Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), a lantern-jawed district attorney who is both good and bad -- two-faced, as it were -- a pragmatic crime-fighter who is just what the public wants, the public having turned against the Batman although they need him more than ever.

KISMAT KONNECTION MOVIE(REVIEW)

1st thing 1st,If you had watched the movie "JUST MY LUCK",then don't waste your money
on kismat konnection.

Kismat konnection is the bollywood movie imported from the mighty hollywood.but,if you
have nothing to do(like me),then go for the movie with your friends.The funniest
thing you can do in the theatre while watching the movie is that you can say the dialogues
even before they are delivered by the actors.Everything is predictable.

he basic plot of the movie revolves around Raj Malhotra (Shahid Kapoor) (doesn`t the name sound too SRKish?…but the film is not as cliched as the name sounds, thankfullysmiling smiley, an architect, who was touted as the next BIG thing during his college days…be it academics,sports,dramatics…he was an all-rounder and his friends had made a TIME magazine cover with Raj`s face on it. Despite his potential and abilities, Raj failed to make it big in life and after 5 years of his graduation he is still not able to achieve success in his life because luck never supported him. Something or the other always goes wrong with him…when he has to wake up at the morning, his alarm clock doesn`t ring, when he is about to be appointed as an architect, the boss of the contracting company dies and so on. Raj tries his luck once again to be appointed for a shopping mall construction project by Mr.Gill (Om Puri) but luck once again betrays him when an old school friend (Manoj Joshi) of his attempts to take away the contract from Raj`s hands and secure it for himself. A disappointed Raj one night sees an advertisment on the television which claims to provide the solution to everyone`s problems in life. The advertisment states that anyone who contacts Haseena Bano Jaan (Juhi Chawla) will be freed from all his worries forever. So, Raj obviously notes down her address and drops in at her premises. Haseena Bano Jaan states that there is a force that is his lucky charm and would remove all his problems but he has to recognize that ’force’. Raj meets Priya (Vidya Balan) several times…once when his car is about to collide with hers…or at the ATM card machine spot or at a bar. Each time he meets her, things turn out to be in his favour and miracles take place with him. He manages to secure a construction contract and also manages to impress Mr.Gill, when it seems impossible to him. It is then when he realizes that Priya is that force that is his lucky charm. However, there are two problems; Priya runs an old citizens hospital and Gill`s shopping mall is constructed at the same place as the hospital and secondly, Priya is about to get married within a few days and Raj won`t have his lucky charm for very long, with him. Plus, Raj also realises by then that he is in love with Priya.

On the whole, Kismat Konnection is a complete family entertainer which is sure to lure everyone`s hearts and do well at the box-office too. You should definitely give this one a watch.

THE GREAT INDIAN POLITICAL DRAMA

I was never interested in the politics.Especially the Indian politics.But,the present
situaton in the political circle in like a normal bollywood movie.There is villain(Prakash
Karat),The hero( Mr Manmohan singh) and the masala of typical movie.
The number game is like one in cricket match,government needs 271 votes in her favor to
prove majority,or to be the winner of the match.And like cricket,everything is fixed here.
MP are being paid Rs 25 crore by big corporates to support and vote for a particular
party.Hefty sums are being exchanged.The MP's who were in jail are being bailed out.Government
is offering various mouth-watering deals to the smaller parties who are promising to
vote in the favour of government,like a seat in cabinet,some ministry etc..

The game is on,so is the speculation.Who will win? will government survive? Who will
vote for whom?.

what the opposition parties don't understand is that the entire world is banking on India's
emergence from a regional to a global power.US president George Bush was among the first to
grasp the importance of transformation.The whole world is rooting for India to emerge
from its poverty and its third world victim mindset.

But,who gonna tell this to our politicians? They want money and more money.The power
Hungry politicians is taking our country to nowhere.

Just 23 days to go for the world largest,biggest and oldest sports event:The Beijing
Olympics.

what the big question is: Will world follow the olympics?

It's true that the die hard fan of a sportsperson will definitely keep tab on the
latest happenings of him/her in Olympics.But,For the common people it's just another sport.Be it an Engineer,laborer or manager everyone is busy in his life.No one has time for anything.The money-hungry people have a kind of dipsomania.They won't be watching the TV for those stupid jumps.

Everyone has his/her reasons for not watching the Olympics.
mine are:

1) No optimism for Indian participants: India has never won any olympic Gold medal.The Chances of winning at this olympic are rare. Looking at the countries like US,Australia and Russia,it's shameful that a country of 100 billion people can't produce a athlete who can compete and win a gold medal.

2)I prefer Soccer: I love watching soccer.Euro2008 was one of the best soccer event. i guess it concluded in 15 days from the date it started and gave the best moments for a viewer. The EPL gonna start from August & i am more keen to watch the EPL matches than boring opymics.

3) I love Tibetan's: I met with few tibetan's are who exiled and live here in Dharamshala,Himachal Pradesh,India. I don't know why but i feel pity for them. Indian government and public has accepted them open-heartly,But deep within their heart they feel alienated in India. And looking at their simple life-style and the self-respect with which they talk and live,It's quite unfair for them to be exiled. China should not had used the brutal force to diminish the protests by Tibetans. Indian Government should support Tibetans to get the freedom.These Tibetan would never carry sword and guns.give Tibetans what they want: their home,their country.

we had a mock exam on this sunday.but i couldn't give it as i was feeling lazy on sunday.
so when my teacher asked about my absence.
I said " sir, I couldn't find the keys of my bike on time.That's why i couldn't reach the venue OF EXAM".

trust me,The years spend in the college are most memorable.But, successful transitionfrom a school campus to the college seems a daunting task for few.

the matchless blending of academics and extra-curricular activities that a college campus
provides is real fun.

In college,interacting with new people is an arduos task and the fact that teachers are
not friendly ans approachable as the ones in school,makes life a tad difficult during
the teething days.

1) Talk to all,but be in a group

When you ll enter in a new college,their would be 100 odd students in your class.Try
interacting with all of them.Try interacting with opposite sex,even if you did your
schooling from a non co-ed school.try to break the ice.

Now,there would be few persons who thinks like you and have hobbies like yours.Try to form
a group of people who thinks same and have same hobbies.This ll help you a lot.
No one wants to be lonely in college and if you are not in a group of friends,you would be
lonely.

2) COLLEGE FESTS

College is all about showing your talent and harnessing new ones. And various kind of
fests in college like technical fest,cultural fest will help you a lot.Usually,the
organiser's of these fests are students itself.Various committes,looking different
aspects of the fest are formed.In my college committes as finance,publicity,marketing,
PR,discipline are formed during our annual fest.be the part of any committe and it ll
break the ice between you & your seniors as well as will give you a vast exposure.
This exposure to various technicalities used in organising a fest from scratch would
certainly help you in future,in your professional life.

3) SPORTs

Without sports, your college like is incomplete.So try to participate in all sports
events of the college. In my college,we have 3 days as "Athletic meet" in mid-october.All
events are covered on these days. cricket and basketball tours to other colleges is a yearly
affair.

some colleges organise adventure camps which include trekking,paragliding,horse-riding,
rappeling etc.these tours will help you in learning.

4)Lending a helping hand

The society has given you so much,so try to give back something.Join NSS or any other social
societies. There are various NGO's who recruit college freshers. Rotary International has
their youth wing as Rotaract(Rotary in action). your college may have a branch of it.
do join some social organisation.

5)CLUBS

Clubs like dramatics,photography,robotics,music are official clubs of your college.Do join
them according to your interests.

But remember,do not rush to bandwagon,do only those things which interests you.

6)Fall in love

Last but not the least,do fall in love.But,only if you can find someone special.It's a
great feeling. Do not ruin your valentine day as i do (:P).

RAGGING OR HAZING:STOP IT

Ragging as defined in Wiki is"Ragging is a form of abuse on newcomers to educational institutions in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and in many other countries. It is almost similar to the Western form, known as hazing, but is commonly much more severe.

Some senior students force the unorganized newcomers to undergo several forms of mental, physical and sexual abuses. The juniors are usually too frightened to resist their organized group of tormentors."

It is that time of the year again, when the colleges will re-open, a new session shall
start and the blue, black and grey schoolboys and schoolgirls will turn into colorful and
trendy college students. Again, a generation will leap forward to the first step to
defining their independent life. Again, a few college romances will begin – some for days,
some for months, a few for life. But, again we shall have to read and hear of the dreadful
term named “Ragging” and its after effect.

WHY ragging?

The ragging might have started as a fun-activity where seniors take introduction of
juniors so as to get familiar with them and make juniors comfortable.But,the time changed
so as the ragging.From fun-loving activity,ragging has changed to physical,mental
and sexual crime.

Seniors who were junior last year and were ragged by their seniors,now wants to take the
revenge.so this becomes as vicious circle.

Seniors would think of new innovative ideas as how to rag the junior.This is evident be
peeping into "orkut.com". there are communities which are dedicated just to innovate new
ragging ideas. And when devils brains meet,it create a disaster.

How to stop it?

Laws won't stop ragging.It is awareness in general public that can stop ragging.
If one whole batch stops ragging of their fresher's than this vicious circle would
break. This can help in curving the menace called ragging.Now,stopping a whole batch in
not indulging in ragging would be very tough.In place like hostels,where ragging is
like a cocaine and people are hooked to it,it is impossible.
Only the administration of concerned college/university can stop ragging by taking
concrete and tough steps.

"It all started when i was in 7th standard.I bunked the school along with my friends,just for
fun.We went to nearby place,to enjoy the freedom.my friends lit few cigarttes.they also
one to me.Being ignorant, i shared that piece of pie.And my journey started in that dark world.

My friend and me bunked classes,usually go to nearby Tavern and drink as much as we can.
Fighting with my mom for money,was now a daily routine.I even started carrying alcohol
in the empty bottle of coke,to my school.I used to drink while in class,pretending that
i am just drinking Coke.

The habit of drinking started ascending.I need alcohol at any cost.We even started stealing
money from wherever we can get.We used to bet,that how much bottles we can finish, in
given amount of time.

Then i felt that i need something more than this alcohol.I started taking cough syrub and
the shoe-polish.i used to wrap up the shoe-polish in piece of cloth.then,i used to inhale it.
It used to give me more pleasure than alcohol.then i started inhaling the adhesives which

are normally used in daily life.They gave me more pleasure.

After drinking and inhaling,you don't bother about anyone in this world.You feel that you
can do anything in this world,achieve any anything,can beat any wrestler of your locality,
you are not afraid of anything.World becomes yours.

Then,one day i tried opium,a drug made from the seeds of a poppy.my friend bought it from
a local drug dealer.i felt like my brain just gonna blast into thousand pieces.I have had
headache which i never had in my whole life.Headache was quite severe.My heart was pumping
blood at very high rate. I thoght i gonna die.But,in few hours it was only peace,no pain.
I was sleeping and i was numb."

This is a true story of a guy whom i met here,accidently.He was at my city as an interviewee
for the job of security-man in a insurance company.he live in some village in hilly state
of Himachal pradesh.i talked him about detoxification,he said nothing.but,From his facial expression i goteverything. In India, the drugs which are used in curing an addict itself are addictive.so, you get hooked to these "curing" drugs..

The whole bola-bala about outsourcing in USA and UK is not totally correct.Every day,
we hear news about the speech's of Obama's and McLen(sorry for spelling mistake) where
they bombard Indian companies for stealing jobs.I even heard few weeks ago that the
cause of downfall of American economy is India and China..

well,looking at other way around,we have these facts:

the United States stands to save over $300 billion over the next six years by shifting some business operations overseas.

The ITES (IT Enabled Services) /BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) market is likely totouch $142 billion in 2009, against the current cost of $532 billion for these services.The difference of $390 billion represents the net saving the U.S. economy can expect from outsourcing.

US banks, financial services and insurance companies have saved $6 billion to $8 billion in the past four years owing to IT outsourcing to India.

12 top Indian companies have invested billions of dollars in the USA, creating and retaining more than 30,000 American jobs. Big Indian companies like Essar, HCL, Tata,Mahindra and Wipro, which have ventured overseas, have contributed towards generatingthese jobs for the US people in recent years.

Tata Group alone employs 19,000 Americans and has invested over $3 billion,besides operating 16 businesses in US, a report by US-India Business Council (USIBC).

It so happens sometimes that you write a scrap to someone on Orkut but don't want the other person to be there. Here you say "Hi wats up" and nanoseconds later comes a reply" Im good, u say" as if they are just waiting for this little initiative from you to start a conversation. Then, you are left with nothing to say because for you, all your friendship with that person is just that question and anwer,albeit at different times. Such situations can be deal breakers. You cant pretend to be away, you cant reply to anyone else's scraps, you just blankly stare at the screen and are forced to logout!!!!!!!!!!
Here are a list of excuses that Prof. Manubert Manraistein has come up with for a possible escape from this nasty situation:

1.Pretend you have had a sudden attack of dyslexia. Scribble gibberish like"gdtydygkhftydy7iuy" and scrap back. Next time, they wont dare reply within 10 hours of your scrap.

2.Scrap back "Do i know you?". Lest assured, a few minutes will pass before other person comes back to their senses. Scrap back next day scolding them for not understanding your humourous attempt.

3.Reply back with each word as a separate scrap. No more scraps guaranteed.

4.Tell them you are a very religious person and have'nt taken a shower for a week waiting for the most auspicious "Mahurat" which is 2 minutes from now which if missed, will keep you hydrophobic for another fortnight. All you'll get as a reply is something girlish like "Yukkkk" or "Ewwwww". Problem solved.
